The graduation ceremony at Politehnica University of Timisoara, class of 2023 entered the Alumniversum constellation not only with an exceptional event, uniting the Opera Square with the Stiinta Arena in a continuum of youth, optimism and future plans, but also with a fresh message for a green future of the student campus, of the university, of the city of Timisoara, and even of the planet.
The booth of the project University Students Engaging in Responsible and Sustainable Energy Consumption (USE-REC) attracted hundreds of students, who left their thoughts on the “billboard of the future” in exchange for a photographic memory of one of the most exciting moments in their young adult life. From messages like “Spare nature” and “more O2, less CO2” to “green is the new sexy” and “forget about beer in PET bottles.
It’s better in GLASS anyway”, the thoughts of the Poli 100 graduates converge to the idea expressed in the message “A green planet is what we need”.
