The training sessions within the project University Students Engaging in Responsible and Sustainable Energy Consumption (USE-REC) continue, between July 19-20, with an event dedicated to building administrators. The trainees, administrating mainly housing residencies, but also other spaces dedicated to the academic process, learned how to incorporate sustainability in the social services offered to students, an aim set forth by the UPT strategy. Thus, the main stakeholders in ensuring sustainable and quality social services for students (students and administrative staff) share common knowledge and can support energy sparing behaviors and reducing the CO2 footprint in campus life and activities. The training also created the format for administrators to recommend measures for a more efficient use of energy in campus buildings and to identify dedicated spaces for the placement of TV monitors which will inform students, starting with the academic year 2023-2024, about the social and environmental responsibility campaign developed within the project. The Politehnica family shows, in this manner, that it cares about the future of students, of their training, and sustainable housing, as stated in the slogan of the campaign, “I care”.
