October 2023 adds new pages to the album of collaborations between UPT and Norwegian universities, creating platforms for exchange of experience, dissemination of results and identification of new cooperation opportunities.
Thus, in the organization of UPT and Høgskulen for grøn utvikling (HGUt, Norway) on October 13, the international conference “Reimagining the city from my window” took place, where the team formed by Mariana Cernicova-Buca, Gabriel-Mugurel Dragomir, Vasile Gherheș, Adina Palea presented the topic “Involving students in co-creating the future of campus life in Timisoara”.
On October 16, the same organizers invited the academic community to the international EMPOWERING YOUNG PEOPLE AS CULTURE PROVIDERS workshop. The team formed by Mariana Cernicova-Buca, Gabriel-Mugurel Dragomir, Vasile Gherheș, Adina Palea presented the theme “Empowering young adults as future sustainable citizens”. Both presentations referred to the experiences accumulated within the project, aiming at the co-creation of the vision of a sustainable campus in which the 4 pillars of the action participate: students, administrative staff, teaching staff and the management of the institution.
